Refresher/Advanced Staff Training

Many of our customers benefit from advanced training that helps your staff explore ways to streamline business processes. This focused instruction can make your operation more productive and ultimately better serve your customers. Learn to tap into some of the more advanced features of Agvance to make the most of your software investment.

Face-to-Face Training (either at your location or SSI)

Whether at your location or at SSI offices in Shelbyville, IL, these face-to-face options bring the trainer and the attendees together for the following group training options.

  • Presentation style – aimed at seasoned users, the topics are generally covered with a combination of PowerPoint slides and demonstrations within Agvance. Questions from participants are encouraged throughout these interactive sessions.
  • 'Hands On' Training – this training includes a mixture of presentation and exercises reinforcing the material.  Ideal for users new to Agvance, each student works on a computer with a separate but identical dataset hosted at our location.

Remote Training
(via high-speed Internet connection)

The following remote options are ideal for focused group training on specific features of Agvance modules or a general overview of a particular module. Both remote options require access to high-speed internet.

  • Presentation style – see description in the Face to Face session above.  In the ‘remote’ setting, SSI hosts a Web Meeting that can be projected on a screen at your location for several people to view. You provide a speaker phone for the audio.
  • 'Hands On' Training – description in the Face to Face Group Training session above.  In the ‘remote’ setting, our trainer will monitor each student’s progress remotely. In addition to the student workstations at the training site, one computer is required to host the web meeting for the projected presentation. A speaker phone must be available for the audio. SSI works with someone at the training facility (whether that is at your offices or a computer lab in your area) to setup the computers and web connection prior to the training.
